Katharina Ingwersen
leading actress (author, producer)
...lives and works as an actress in Berlin, where she studied acting at the „Europäisches Theaterinstitut“ from 1999 to 2002. Next to acting in film and theatre she also works as an acting teacher.
Currently she is respective member in the theatre companies „Kriminalmenü“* and „20legs production“, where she can be seen on stage in various roles.
With her colleagues Daniela Bolliger and Philipp Hagen she set up the children´s association „Theater im Urlaub“* in 2006. Together they organize several theatre workshops a year for children in Germany and abroad during school holidays.
Katharina Ingwersen runs acting workshops since 2010 within the Germany-wide apprenticeship project „Abenteuer Kultur“ for young adults who are trained at the company „dm-drogeriemarkt“.
In autumn 2010 she participated at the “Transatlantic Talent Laboratory of Reykjavik International Film Festival”. She was selected for her short film „Marichen“. The film was in competition for the Golden Egg.
